SRINAGAR: A woman was injured after India and Pakistan armies exchange fire along the LoC in Tangdhar sector in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Wednesday.
Srinagar based army spokesman in a statement said, “Pakistan army targeted civilian villages in forward areas along the LoC last night. It resulted in bullet injury to a woman of Hajitra village of Tangdhar sector.”
He said that the injured lady was immediately shifted to hospital for treatment and is currently stable.
Indian Army gave a befitting response to the shelling, the spokesman said.
