SRINAGAR: A gunfight broke out in Arrah area in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district following a search operation launched by the government forces on Saturday.
Reports said that forces launched a cordon-and-search-operation following inputs about the presence of militants in Arrah village.
They said that a gunfight broke out after the militants opened fire on a search party of the forces.
