SRINAGAR: District Magistrate Jammu, Sushma Chauhan, has ordered a ban on transportation of bovine animals such as cow, oxen, bulls, calves etc from Jammu to other districts except with the permission from District Magistrate/ Additional District Magistrate in this regard.
The restrictions have been imposed as a preventive measure for a period of two months to curb illegal transportation of bovine animals in the district which disturbs public peace and tranquillity.
