A 60-year old man from south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday tested positive for COVID-19 in Samba district of Jammu region. With this, the total number of positive cases reported today in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 35.
Reports said that a resident of village Sandipora in Pulwama district, who had another house at village Channi Kartholi in Sarore area of Bari Brahamana in Samba district for a winter stay, had returned from Pulwama by taking lift in a tanker on April 29 and was under administrative quarantine at a resort in Ghagwal, tested positive for COVID-19 today.
As of now, J&K has reported 701 cases, of which 406 are Active Positive, 287 have recovered and eight have died.
