Forces lay siege to Kulgam village in south Kashmir

Government forces started a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Matalhama village in Qaimoh belt of south Kashmir’s district Kulgam.

Reports said that a joint team of Army and Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched searches after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

Search operation in the area was going on when the last reports came in.
