A joint team of government forces on Friday claimed to have found and defused an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) at Shopian-Pulwama road at Nikas Pulwama of south Kashmir.
Reports said that the Police, army, and CRPF in a joint team detected an IED weighing 5 kgs. The explosive was later defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) and then destroyed.
Meanwhile, police have taken the cognizance of the incident.
