Gunfight broke out in Malanpora Beharampora village of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday morning, police said.
According to an official, a joint team of Army’s 22 Rashtriya Rifles, special operations group (SOG) and CRPF laid a cordon at Malampora Behrampora in Sopore early morning and started a cordon and search operation (CASO).
As the forces moved towards the suspected spot, the militants fired at them, triggering off a gunfight, he said
