Government forces on Wednesday night launched a cordon-and-search operation at Dever area Lolab in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Reports said that a joint team of army’s 28 RR, 162 bn CRPF, and SOG laid a siege at Chopan Mohalla and Bhat Mohalla in Dever village late today evening.
A police officer also confirmed the incident and said that the cordon was launched following inputs about the movement of some suspected militants. (GNS)
