Clashes erupted in south Kashmir’s Shopian district between government forces and youth on Monday soon after a grenade was lobbed on police party.
Reports said that scores of youth pelted rocks on forces personnel deployed near the local Jamia Masjid who retaliated with tear smoke shelling.
Earlier sixteen persons were injured in a grenade attack in the town among them was SHO and a young girl.
