Jammu and Kashmir traffic police on Tuesday launched a drive against the traffic rule violators in Srinagar city near Women’s College on MA road.
Reports said that the traffic police official including SP Traffic Muzaffar A Shah have ceased a large number of auto rickshaws, local cabs and private vehicles who were found violating the traffic rules.
The traffic officials have fined the auto rickshaws who were ferrying passengers without the fare meters and uniforms. They also ceased around 100 two-wheelers who were found without the official documents, reports added.
