Gunshots were heard in Pahnoo village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Sunday evening.
Sources said that suspected militants attacked an Area Domination Petrol of 44RR near High School Pahnoo Shopian. However, there was no report of any casualties.
Sources added that militants fired few gunshots towards Army domination Petrol, The army personnel retaliated by firing several shots, leading to a brief exchange of fire.
Soon after the incident government forces cordoned off the whole area to nab the attackers, sources said.
