Pakistans Kashmiri Air marshal passes away

Srinagar

Asghar Khan, a retired Air Marshal and first native commander-in-chief of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), passed away on Friday morning in Islamabad Pakistan.

Asghar Khan was 96 years old man, who became the youngest head of PAF at the age of 35, passed away after a long illness.

Asghar Khan was a Kashmiri resident, who had migrated to Pakistan before 1947.

Meanwhile, Pakistani politician and former Cricketer of Pakistan tweeted “Saddened to learn of Air Chief Marshal Asghar Khan’s death early this morning. He transformed the PAF and was a man of steadfast principles and integrity. My prayers and condolences go to his family.”
