Revenue official arrested for taking bribe in Kishtwar

A Revenue official was arrested by state vigilance sleuths in Kishtwar district on Friday for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 7,000.

Reports said that acting on a complaint, vigilance officers led by Dy SP Kartar Singh laid a trap and arrested accused red handed while accepting bribe from Farooq Ahmed of village Keshwan , Kishtwar.

Reports further added that the bribe money of Rs 7,000 has been recovered from the possession of the Revenue official.
