The residents of Shariatabad Budgam on thursday stormed into the residence of Aga Syed Hasan, senior Hurriyat leader where NIA slueths were conducting a raid and raised massive slogans against the investigating agency.
Sources said that people in hundreds started marching towards the residence of Hasan after, they accused NIA slueths of misbehaving with the family and harassment.
Local sources said that NIA slueths after sensing trouble fled the house.
“People in hundreds assembled in the courtyard of Aga Hasan after breaking through the gates and started sloganeering.”
The protesters have now started marching to main Chowk Budgam.
Meanwhile, sources said that the protesting people have called for a protest on Friday against the harassment by NIA to the Aga family.
