Driver dies, 2 others suffer injuries as Tipper collides with Matador at Salamabad

One person died and two other suffered injuries after a Tipper collied head on with a Matador at Salamabad in Uri.

Sources said that a Tipper bearing registration number JK05C-9840 on way to Srinagar loaded with Gypsum collided with a passenger Matador at Salamabad. The driver of the Tipper died on the spot, they said.

He was identified as Sajad Ahmad Janjawa son of Abdul Hamid Janjawa, a resident of Dardkote Uri.

Meanwhile, two passengers travelling the in the Matador, bearing registration number JK05C-4858, were injured.

Uri police registered a case in this regard.
