Clashes have erupted between youth and government forces during a Cordon and Search Operation in Munchew village of Yaripora area of Kulgam district.

According to reports, youth took to streets soon after forces launched search operation. Youth pelted stones on government forces who retaliated with tear smoke shells triggering clashes.
Clashes were going on when this report is being filed.
Earlier 62 RR, SOG Kulgam cordoned off the area after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
