6 policemen including 2 officers injured in Islamabad clashes

Six police personnel including two officers have sustained injuries in the Islamabad clashes, reports said on Friday.

News gathering agency ANI reported that two officers have sustained injuries in the clashes.

Besides, a police vehicle has been set on fire.

Earlier, intense clashes were witnessed in the town after pro-Rohingya protests erupted in the area.

Local sources said that police personnel tried to stop the protesters from marching on main road triggering clashes.
