Army on Thursday said that two of its soldiers were killed by BAT (Border Action Team) along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu.
The two soldiers were killed when BAT fired upon a patrolling party, army officials said.
The operation is still going on, the officials added.
Meanwhile, army also claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid in Keran Sector by killing an intruder.
This was stated by Army’s northern command in a Tweet.
