In the wake of the suspected militant attack in Baramulla, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday said the security forces are giving a befitting reply to militants.
Singh, who arrived in Leh on Monday on a two-day visit to Leh and Ladakh to take stock of the situation, said that he would make all efforts to try and resolve the issues of the region.
“We will be meeting with the respective delegations in Leh and Ladakh and will acquire all information from them. We will try to resolve the problems being faced by them,” Singh told the media soon after his arrival.
The Home Minister earlier on Monday spoke to the National Security Advisor and the Director General of Border Security Force (BSF) in the wake of suspected militant attack in Baramulla and reviewed the situation.
Singh has expressed grief over the killing of BSF man and asked the DG of BSF to make all arrangements for the treatment of injured man.
The Home Ministry is closely monitoring the situation after the attack.
The suspected militants attacked a camp of the 46 Rashtriya Rifles in Baramulla late on Sunday night.
