A J&K Police cop was shot dead on Saturday morning when he was on way to district police lines Pulwama from his home in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The slain cop was identified as Khurshid Ahmad Ganai, son of Abdul Aziz, a resident of Quil area of Pulwama.
He was shot dead from close range.
The slain cop was a ‘selection grade’ constable in the police department.
