The trader’s bodies in Kashmir have called off tomorrow’s strike after they met Finance minister Haseeb Drabu on Friday afternoon.
Prsident Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Mushtaq Ahmad Wani told Kashmir Life that they have been assured of just consideration of their demands part of which have already been met. “We met FinMin today in the afternoon and he assured us that our just demands shall be met.”
The strike was called in view of tax proposals in the budget presented in the assembly by FinMin Dr Haseeb Drabu on May 30.
