A male body was recovered in Bandipora District last evening, police said Monday.
“Bandipora police recovered a body of 45-year-old, Sarwar Wani, son of Mohammad Afzal Wani of Wani Mohalla Aloosa in an open field near Wani Mohalla Lehipora Aloosa,” police said in a statement.
“After completion of legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites. Bandipora police has registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.”
