An encounter broke out between militants and security forces in the Khosh Mohalla of Hajin. The area falls in Bandipore district, reports said.
Reports not immediately confirmed by independent sources claim a group of militants are trapped inside the mohalla. It was not immediately known if the security forces were operating on basis of specific intelligence or it was just a random raid. Further details are awaited.
