In an accidental fire, a border security force (BSF) trooper was killed in Jammu province Sunday.
Police said the deceased identified as Raman Kumar of Gurdaspur (Punjab) belonged to BSF’s 78 battalion who sustained a serious injury when his service rifle went off accidentally in Jammu’s Gadigarh area yesterday.
The trooper was rushed to Jammu’s Government Medical College where he succumbed to his injures.
