HMT Youth’s Death: Protests Held in University of Kashmir

Students in University of Kashmir Saturday late evening held strong protests against the killing of a youth in HMT.

Reports reaching here said that as soon as the news of the death of Gowhar Nazir Dar reached the Hazratbal campus, students raised pro-freedom slogans and moved around the campus.

Gowhar Nazir Dar was hit by a tear gas shell in Zainakote area of HMT allegedly by CRPF troops. He was rushed to SKIMS, Soura where he succumbed to his injuries.
