The youth who was critically injured in clashes with forces in outskirts of Srinagar late Thursday evening has succumbed in SKIMS Soura.
Identified as Gowhar A Dar, 22, he was a student of engineering at SSM College.
After being hit by teargas shell in the head at Zainakote area on Saturday, he was rushed to SKIMS.
“Paramilitary CRPF men fired tear gas shells on youth who were demonstrating against curbs placed today to foil ‘Srinagar Million March’ called by separatist groups to counter PM Modi’s rally,” reports said.
