Senior Hurriyat (g) leader and president of J&K Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, Aga Syed Hassan Thursday termed the statement of Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief at UN General Assembly as a “determination of reconciliatory spirit”.

“Political solutions to all conflicts are necessary in view of hovering terroristic threats over the world which results that oppressed nations are being lured towards extremism,” Aga Syed Hassan said in his party statement.

Hailing the Prime Minister Pakistan’s “four-point proposal for peace” which concludes “respect and observance of ceasefire from both sides of LoC, withdrawal of troops from Jammu and Kashmir and fruitful dialogue over Kashmir dispute on the basis of UN resolutions” as ‘realistic ideology’, Aga Hassan said, “solution of Kashmir issue is evitable if government of India and Pakistan is truly sincere in welfare of millions of people because the conflict between two countries is causing irreparable damage to their economy.”

Welcoming the sincere invitation of Prime Minister Pakistan Nawaz Sharief to resolve Kashmir Dispute, the statement said, “Aga advised government of India to react positively rather than spending more time and solve long pending Kashmir issue according to the aspirations of Kashmiris.”
