SRINAGAR
Scores of people from Gujjar Community Sunday afternoon held a protest demonstration in Srinagar demanding implementation of Forest Act.
Raising slogans of justice, they demanded that the Mufti Sayeed led should act fast. The aggrieved Gujjars demanded political reservation as well.
“Once this government took over the reins of state, people from our community holding important posts in government were removed,” one of the protesting Gujjars said.
He said that this shows injustice done to their community.
