CRPF personnel got injured Thursday in an accidental fire at Srinagar’s Qamarwari area.
The police spokesperson while confirming the incident said Constable Davinder Singh of 44 Bn was performing duties as residential guard of Minister for Youth Services and Sports and IT, Imran Ansari, in Qamarwari when an accidental fire from his service rifle hit him.
The injured CRPF man was immediately shifted to hospital for treatment.
