SRINAGAR
One person died while three others were injured in different road accidents across the valley Monday.
A Wagon-R bearing registration number JK04C-0928 collided with a parked Army vehicle at Chenad, Baramulla. The driver of the car Nazir Ahmad Lone son of Abdul Gaffar resident of Langate, Handwara and a lady were injured.
Both the injured were shifted to District Hospital, Baramulla for treatment where from they were shifted to SMHS hospital, Srinagar for further treatment, where Nazir Ahmad succumbed to his injuries. Baramulla police has registered a case in this regard.
An Eco car bearing registration number JK09/6892 driven by Zakir Hussain Bhat resident of Machipora hit and injured a 6-year-old boy Aqib Firdous Sheikh resident of Shiekh Colony at Rajwar Road Baghatpora, Handwara. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Handwara police has registered a case in this regard.
A Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK05C/4183 driven by Firdous Ahmed Mir resident of Zonipora and a Piagio Auto Load Carrier bearing registration number JK08/7405 driven by Ghulam Nabi Malik resident of Chowgam Devsar collided with each other at Shalteng Srinagar resulting in injuries to a passenger Mehraj-ud-din resident of Bemina. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
