SRINAGAR
Hundreds of Kashmir University students Friday protested in the premises against the acid attack on a law student in Srinagar yesterday and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits and a stern action against them.
The students assembled near the Iqbal Library and raised slogans against the “gruesome act”.
Both male and female students appealed the higher authorities to take serious steps to stop such acts in future. They exhibited complete solidarity with the victim girl (name withheld).
Pertinently, unknown youth attacked 21 year old girl with acid in Srinagar’s Nowshera area yesterday sparking widespread protests and condemnations.
